Why people plunge.
Aim for about 11 minutes of cold a week, split across 2–4 sessions. After strength training, wait 6–8 hours before plunging, and plunge earlier in the day so it doesn't disrupt sleep.
The warm half of recovery.
Pregnant women, young children and anyone with a medical condition should check with their doctor first. Take breaks or stop if you feel lightheaded.

Questions, answered.
How should I prepare for my first session?
Remove any makeup, oils, creams and lotions. You'll take a light shower before plunging. On your first visit, check in 10–15 minutes before your appointment to complete paperwork and get instructions. Sessions start on a fixed schedule, so late arrivals may not be able to plunge.
Do I need to bring anything?
We should have everything you need.
How often should I plunge?
It depends on your goals. Many people make it part of their weekly routine. We recommend at least one ice bath a week.
I'm pregnant. Can I plunge?
No. Please don't take a cold plunge if you are pregnant.
Who should check with a doctor first?
Anyone with cardiovascular problems, congestive heart failure, impaired coronary circulation, extreme sensitivity or insensitivity to cold, or on medication that affects blood pressure. Also seniors, anyone with a pacemaker or defibrillator, and people with conditions such as Parkinson's, multiple sclerosis, CNS tumours, Raynaud's disease, lupus or diabetes with neuropathy.
